AfriSam South Africa is giving unemployed youth a powerful opportunity to launch a career in the construction and mining industry. The company is currently recruiting for its 2025 Boilermaker Learnership Programme—and it could be your gateway to a skilled trade career.

What’s the Deal?
AfriSam is offering two learnership positions under its 18.2 Boilermaker Learnership programme. These positions are based at:
- Jukskei Quarry
- Eikenhof Quarry
Both located in Gauteng, South Africa.
Successful candidates will sign an 18.2 Learnership Agreement registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Who Should Apply?
To qualify, you must be a technically inclined, unemployed youth with one of the following:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (all passed)
- N2 Certificate with 4 relevant subjects: Maths, Engineering Science, and trade-specific subjects
- NCV Level 4 Engineering Certificate with 7 relevant subjects
- Technical Grade 11 with Maths, Science, Language & Trade Theory
- Relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream)
- A valid driver’s license is a bonus but not mandatory.
