SETA INTERNSHIPS stands for Sector Education and Training Authority. There are 21 different SETAs in South Africa, each responsible for skills development and training within a specific sector—ranging from finance and agriculture to manufacturing and education.

A SETA internship is a structured work experience program funded by a SETA, aimed at helping young people gain practical skills related to their field of study. Internships usually last between 6 and 12 months and often come with a monthly stipend.
