Are you a recent matriculant passionate about mechanics, agriculture, or engineering? The AFGRI Apprenticeship Programme 2026 offers you a fully funded pathway to become a qualified artisan — with no prior experience needed.
This multi-year programme equips unemployed South African youth with the skills, tools, and mentorship required to succeed in South Africa’s booming agricultural and mechanical sectors.
What Does the Programme Include?
As an AFGRI apprentice, you’ll receive:

Who Should Apply?
This opportunity is open to unemployed South African youth who:
- Are between 18–25 years old
- Have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science

- Are willing to commit full-time for 3 years
